NOTE - We've found that a small number of Monteros came with fuel pump assemblies that had a different main fuel line connector and/or electric plug. Please compare the photos of this assembly's connectors to the one in your vehicle before ordering.
Given the age of Gen2 Monteros, most of the original metal fuel pump hangers are rusty messes by now. And even in dry climates, removing the threaded fuel line without breaking the hardline on the top of the hanger is very difficult. With OEM Fuel Pump Assemblies and Hangers long since discontinued, this quality aftermarket unit is a great option for getting your Montero back up and running smoothly.
PS - We can't guarantee it, but we're pretty sure from our research that this unit will also work with Gen1 LWB Monteros if you switch out the electrical connector.
