Fitment: 1992-2000 Montero

Pulled from a 1994 Montero SR 3.5L DOHC with 382k miles.

This is the entire front diff assembly and the 3rd member out of the rear diff, both complete with 4.63 factory gearing. If your Montero has the 4.27 gear ratio and you've since stepped up to bigger tires, these deeper gears are a nice upgrade. They help turn larger tires, reduce stress on the transmission, provide better fuel economy, and allow the speedometer to be near perfect with 33" tires.

NOTE: The Rear Diff is OPEN, no locker, no LSD (there never was on this SR as it was a very early production 1994 model). If you'd like to add in a locker at the same time, it would need a 154 series locker.

We're no diff experts but we opened up both housings to inspect the gears and they look good with no obvious pits or chips in the teeth. Please review the photos and video before purchasing.
