Used for all 2003-2006 Monteros with traction control. Monteros without traction control use a smaller accumulator (part number MR977223) that is black and round in shape, not this big silver cylinder.
A telltale sign your accumulator is bad or going out is that you'll hear a chirping or turkey gobble sound when stepping on the brakes.
