We created this kit for one reason: to allow non-EGR equiped 24V 3.0L & 3.5L V6 Monteros and Montero Sports to be able to use our Left Side Exhaust Manifold (VP-LO-MR450954). *While it is true that this kit will also fit all 2001-2006 Gen 3 Monteros, we do not recommend, nor do we know, what effects using this kit will have if used to delete an existing EGR system.
