We created this kit for one reason: to allow non-EGR equiped 12V 3.0L V6 Monteros and Mighty Max trucks to be able to use our Left Side Exhaust Manifold (VP-LO-MD134678). While it is true that this kit will fit every US generation of Montero and Montero Sport, we do not recommend, nor do we know, what effects using this kit will have if used to delete an existing EGR system.
