This gasket is for the Y-pipe to Exhaust Manifold connections (see schematic for reference), NOT for the main catalytic converter gasket. Sold individually, you will need 2 gaskets if replacing both sides at the same time.
This is a 2mm thick composite gasket which we've found seals better than the thin sheetmetal type of gaskets that are commonly found at auto parts stores. These composite type gaskets are what the Montero originally came with new from the factory but that OEM gasket has since been discontinued by Mitsubishi and is hard to find.
