*This part is not used/needed if you have Bilstein shocks because they come with their own damper and dust boot already installed. However, if you have a shock without this unit already built in then you will need this piece, such as: Koni, KYB, Old Man Emu, etc. 

Although we do carry the OEM part, MR448172, we prefer this PolyTuff version because it manages to be both softer and still more durable. Additionally, the dust boot is longer and extends further down the shock.
