These Universal Bump Stops will fit a multitude of vehicles but when it comes to Monteros, we find they are most commonly used on Gen3s with a suspension lift and 33" or larger tires for the Front Suspension. A coil spring lift causes the suspension to have access to more uptravel than the factory configuration. If you find that your front tires are contacting the top of your wheel well during compression (usually only possible at speed), then these extended length bump stops are an affordable and easy solution. They can be installed in minutes and can be trimmed or extended with metal washers (not included) as needed.
These will also fit Gen 1, 2, 2.5 Monteros but the Upper bump stop plays a larger role on those vehicles' IFS when lifted.
